Just would like to greet everyone a Merry merry merry Christmas! May this season remind us of the real reason what we are celebrating for… and to whom our celebration should be dedicated - to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. May each gift that we give be a symbol of his love flowing out of our hearts shared to the people who touch our lives. And may each gift that we receive be a symbol of His steadfast love and amazing grace. And may these words do not end with the holiday season but would live in our hearts forever, just as we have Jesus living in our lives.

Happy New Year to you all!!!

It’s amusing to greet everyone happy new year over and over and… when the year ends, wala namang nagbago.. >.<

I was talking to a friend of mine early today. We talked about how disappointing and frustrating it is to end the year in a nose dive. When all plans laid out at the start were not realized. Or when it does not meet expectation.

Since 2002, New year means differently to me. It's always what I have looked forward to. And it has been that way since.. until today.

When I woke up today, I decided to pack up. I placed spare shirts, a little towel and some toiletries in my big red bag. I was eager to go out and come back when it's 2007. I was ready to strike anywhere. There was no way am sleeping in my pad.. alone.. I was always alone ever since I decided to move out. But I was hoping.. not this time, not tonight.
I was staying here in the office for like forever since 9AM today. Work stuffs and trying to learn css.. and all. My office mates have their own plans. They have a place to go. People to celebrate and welcome the new year with. I had no one. And no place to go either. I'd probably just eat until morning.. or go bunjee jumping by Cagayan de Oro River or maybe have New Jersey hair transplant… just whatever…or maybe.. *sigh*

I guess, after writing this, my pad would still welcome me. My shirts would go back to the closet… all stuffs would go back to where they were 8 hrs ago. All clean, unused.

The much awaited Christmas is finally over and i bet most of us are now getting ready to kick off for the new year. Thanks to all people who gave me gifts and to all who did not but remembered to greet me at least *lolz. I received quite a handful of keychains this Christmas.. some colored, some lighted, some sparkly, some “meaningful” (for loss of words).

I also got something from online friends. I have met wonderful friends through this program. Just can’t name all of them. One of them gave me this:

A gift from Nika. So touching ^_^ I have also received bunch of “thank you” notes from others.. so heartwarming. All along I thought I was just doing my job and never really pondered on how this BTOP program is helping these whom I now call FRIENDS.

Now, this is about something else. Circumstances could sometimes turn and you’ll be surprised how a person could touch you or even change your life. Friends are really friends, if you know what I mean ( I hope you do because I don’t)

I know someone who likes to “dress her friends up”. She’s the type who, after checking your face and body contour, would blabber about clothes and accessories that she believes could fit you. She seems to have a mind of a thousand plastic surgeons! I wonder where she was last Christmas?
